Designed by Ed Rawlings of Rawlings Architects PC with interiors by Jim Walrod and room concept by Dodd Mitchell Designs, the Thompson LES Hotel is Thompson Hotels’ fourth Manhattan property. This 141 roomed hotel stands at 18 stories high on Manhattan’s Lower East Side and is inspired by the atmosphere of it’s surrounding neighborhoods. Amongst some of the hotspots that it houses are the private terrace bar, Above Allen and SHANG, a Global Chinese restaurant from famed chef Susur Lee. The Thompson LES is also home to the outdoor pool that bears the image of Andy Warhol lithographed onto it’s tile floor.
