
Although the hot spring ryokan is popular all over Japan, the Ginzan Hot Spring Fujiya Inn is notable for blending traditional Japanese setting with sleek, modern minimalist treatment. The 350-year-old inn was reconceptualized by Architect Kengo Kuma of Kengo Kuma and Associates , by focusing on the elements of wood and light for his designs.
