Situated within New York’s historic Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, the Ink48 Hotel’s building originates from the 1930s where it was once stood as an old printing factory. With the original building designed by architect Carlos Zapata, along with the three storey rooftop addition. It was architect David Rockwell who gave the structure a major transformation while still maintaining the original integrity of Zapata’s designs. Amongst some of the new additions include a mini-park made of glass, stone and leather, oversized lofts for guest rooms and a rooftop terrace lounge.
