Italian designers are known for being able to blend style and substance in their work, and the Hotel Straf in downtown Milan is a good example of this. Designed by architect and fashion designer Vincenzo De Cotiis, this hotel stays fashion conscious without doing away with creature comforts. Perhaps the best thing about the Hotel Straf, however, is how modern decor gives the perfect contrast to the Duomo cathedral which is located only steps away.
