Named as Monocle Magazine’s ‘Best Designed Hotel’, Aire de Bardenas in Tudela, Spain, reclaimed a wheatfield and commissioned architects Emiliano Lopez and Monica Rivera to design a collection of glass, steel and wood cubes.  The hotel has won 14 awards along with the architectural FAD Prize in 2009. The interiors and furniture were also designed by thee architects.
